About this query

The response information provided in this query output is in the form of a RESP file - this is the FDSN's standard format for ASCII representation of response information. Because this is the same format used by evalresp, you can use evalresp alone or evalresp and relish to evaluate and plot these responses for any data channel for a given effective time and range of frequencies. (see evalresp and relish for more information)

How this query works

You must set all parameters, except only either virtual network or network and:

• You do not need to enter a location code - however, if a channel has more than one location code associated with it, the query result will include all responses for all locations. (You can execute a channel query to find out if a location code is assigned to a given channel.)
• You do not need to enter an end time - the default will be one day after the start time.
