Data Report 1994 Krafla Undershooting Experiment Conducted in the Northern Volcanic Zone of Iceland July-August, 1994 Prepared for the Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology July, 1995 Description: The Krafla volcano in the Northern Volcanic Zone of Iceland was undershot by deploying linear arrays of seismometers across the caldera and then recording shots detonated within and off the ends of the line. A few regional earthquakes and teleseisms were also recorded. Equipment: GPS-timed REFTEK Recorders with L22D (2 Hz) geophones, and Rugby-timed PRS-4 Recorders with L22D (2 Hz) geophones PI's: William Menke, Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University, Route 9W, Palisdes, NY 10964, USA (email: menke@ldeo.columbia.edu) Bryndis Brandsdottir, Science Insititute, University of Iceland, Dunhaga 5, IS-107, Reyjkavik, Iceland (email: bryndis@raunvis.hi.is) Contents: DATA: Event gathers in LDEO AH format.
