Continuous data is organized in Day directories Dnnn.
A normal working environment,  in directory $DAYS,  would
contain:

The data is released in volumes containing about 1.3 gb, compressed.
It may be tar'ed in from tape to $DAYS one volume at a time,
	up to the capacity of the filesystem.

To make room for new data loads,  old day groups should be
removed:  rm -r D208 D209  ....

The directory structure will be maintained by the 'tar x  ...'
	process.

To load a volume

setenv TAPE /dev/nrmt?  [or /dev/rmt/xn for Solaris]
mt rewind
tar xv				# get info file #1
***if you are in Solaris,  just smile****
***if you are in the old SunOS, mt fsf 1 is needed

tar x [D209 D210 ...] 		# All days [or enumerated days only]	
mt rewind

Records D220:  MKS4.20.12.54.[1-3]
	Time jump of -0.2s in this interval.  wfdisc entries are
	   hand contrived to fit,  but user is warned. Samprate
	   is cooked to 20.00338 to get fit. 

The extra wfdisc file:  217_223_x.wfdisc lists logfile entries
reflecting data acquisition at HMN2 for 217-223.  As of the release
of this initial version,  the waveform data for that period are
missing.
