IRIS Metadata Workshop in Thailand, January 8-16, 2012
The IRIS Metadata Workshop will be held in Thailand and promises to bring lots of
expertise and tools to the registered attendees (registration is now closed). IRIS
DMC has a web page that describes this and the accompanying Advanced Studies
Institute session that follows.

JWEED 3.2 - new release
JWEED is a powerful, event-oriented data access tool.
Using JWEED a person can obtain event-oriented waveforms from any institution which implements Data Handling Interface (DHI) services. Using WMS mapping tools, a user can find desired earthquakes, locate responding stations, and download waveforms directly to their computer. Waveforms can be viewed on screen and saved to SAC and miniSEED data files. Read more »
