
The PASSCAL facility provides the seismological community with state-of-the-art, low-power, portable seismic instrumentation in support of investigator-driven seismological experiments worldwide. The PASSCAL Instrument Center is located at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in Socorro, New Mexico and is also home of the Array Operations Facility of Earthscope's USArray Program.
PASSCAL instruments and support are available to the academic research community according to the rules and policies set by the IRIS Board of Directors. All data from PASSCAL-supported experiments are made available through the IRIS DMC in Seattle, Washington.
