Can somebody tell me what is wrong with the code:

do file wild *BXZ.sac
setbb vert $file
setbb east'(CHANGE 'BXZ.sac' 'BXE.sac' %vert )'
setbb north '( CHANGE 'BXZ.sac' 'BXN.sac' %vert )'
r %vert %east %north



ERROR interpreting command: setbb east'(CHANGE 'BXZ.sac' 'BXE.sac' %vert
)'
NEED A BLACKBOARD
VALUE ^
ERROR 1016: Terminating execution of macro

    Hi, 
    There's no space between east and '. Also, you might have to get rid of parentheses in the newest version of SAC but try the first suggestion first.

    Your script setbb east'(CHANGE 'BXZ.sac' 'BXE.sac' %vert )'
