I have a 2003 version of sac on linux. I had made various adjustments to make it work reasonably well on my laptop so I am hesitating to change anything lest I should spend time figuring out various whistles before I can do work again.

But I just tried to use the evalresp option of transfer (I am not sure how much it improves things comparing using poles and zeros - in some first motion data perhaps yes) and it can't read the rdseed output properly. No Calper set, but there is no calper in the RESP files anyway.

Just wonder whether you have already wrestled with this problem.
