Hello webservice users,

The DMC has updated it's ws-station service: http://www.iris.edu/ws/station/

For users parsing the StationXML returned by ws-station be aware that a new <Network> element that encases all appropriate <Station> elements has been added to the output.

For users of the DMC's Fetch scripts no change is required.

The changes include:
Add "Network" level element new to StationXML and a "net" level of results that returns only network information.
Fix searching by radius, a station date timezone issue, and other small fixes.
regards,
Web services team

The builder for the new stationXML page seems not to work. Typing in
the text fields does not change the URL at the bottom any more, making
it easy to request an XML file for every station in the known
universe, but perhaps not what the user intended.

Also, there is not a "net" in the level pulldown on the builder page.

    thanks
    Philip

firefox 3.6. Tried on 2 different machines, same behavior. I see the
net selection now, but text fields still don't change the URL.

Tried in safari and it worked, so something about firefox I guess.
