Does anyone know if IRIS or anyone else has or is planning to create a webservice for traveltimes ?
Thanks

    Hi Paul,

We are planning on making a travel time service available, likely time frame is first half of next year. As Philip pointed out the European portal service is available but uses SOAP so is less approachable for many folks. We'll be coordinating with the Europeans for the next generation version.

    Hi

    There is one here:
    http://www.seismicportal.eu/jetspeed/portal/web-services.psml
although it appears that it is soap/wsdl based and so not as easily
used as a simple rest style web service. I am not positive, but I
think this is using my TauP package under the hood. You might find it
easier to just use TauP locally.

    thanks,
    Philip
