Thread: New version of fdsnws-station (1.1.7) released

Hello WS users,

The DMC has updated the fdsnws-station service to version 1.1.7

Changes include:

- New feature: the service now supports a new parameter called 'includecomments' to control the inclusion of of station and channel comments in StationXML output. If set to 'true' (the default) comments are include, if set to 'false' comments will be not be included. Support for this new parameter will be added to the URL Builder soon.

- Comments are included in any station or channel epoch that intersects with the comment time range, which may result in the same comment being included multiple times.

- Include error values for polynomial coefficients. In addition, the indexing for polynomial coefficients now starts at 0 instead of 1.

- The restriction not allowing a wild-carded network selection when level=response has been removed. There is now a limit of 20,000 channel entries when level=response, this limit is subject to change.
