Hello all!
I would like to know if is possible to save images from the SSS subroutine?
the plotstack or plotrecordsection figures, for example?

thanks in advance,

Claudia Pavez

    Hi Claudia,

Perhaps after your plotstack command you can use plot1 command,

Give a look in the plotstack help for details.

    sac> help plotstack

      thanks,

        Dear Claudia,

I found in my tests a while back that the saveimg command wasn't
working for me out of the SSS subroutine. The two-stage process of
conversion to SAC graphics file followed by conversion to postscript
works for both SSS and regular SAC. For example in regular SAC:

        SAC> read myfile.sac
        SAC> p1
        SAC> begindevices sgf
        SAC> p1
        SAC> q

You will see a file "f001.sgf" in your directory. Then you can use the command
        sgftops f001.sgf mynewplot.ps
( followed by ps2pdf mynewplot.ps if you want PDF format)

If you're in SSS you'd be using plotstack, plotrecordsection etc., but
the command sequence is otherwise the same.

        Best regards,

        Fiona.

          Hi all,
          Thank you very much Fiona.
I just found another way to do this. If you write 'qs' after plotting in
          the SSS subroutine, you
can keep the image, and use the normal way to save. Here an example,

          SAC/SSS> plotstack
          SAC/SSS> qs
          SAC> saveimg test.ps
          save file test.ps [PS]
          SAC>

          Best,
          Claudia
