Dear there,

Whenever I use the command "addf", I encounter this error: "Resulting error
from shift exceeded tolerance (1e-6): 0.00020053". Could I know what does
this error mean?

Many thanks!
Yihe

    Dear Yihe Huang -

This message arises when time differences are calculated, to make sure they can be accurately represented by SAC. I suspect that your files have very different zero times and are made to be temporally correspond by differences in B (begin time). If this is true, synchronize your files to the same zero time before doing your ADDF operation.

      Dear George,

Thanks very much for your help. I made the files to the same beginning
time, and now it works, though I got the warning like 'Time Overlap'.

      Best regards,
      Yihe
