To whom it may concern,
I have a question on the "merge" command. I have
two SAC files from the same station. The reason why
I want to merge them together is these two dataset have
some common data. So I want to merge them together
as one dataset. In other words, the ending time of the first
data file is after the beginning time of the second data file.
what I do is as follows:
read 1.sac
merge 2.sac
write over
quit
If successfully, 1.sac should include these two data. However,

Hi,
I am using the following macro to start calculating the complex instrument response:
funcgen impulse npts 16584 delta 0.001 begin 0
ch KSTNM $1
ch KCMPNM $2
transfer to evalresp station $1 channel $2 network $3
fft
writesp am file

Dear SAC-HELP mailing list,
There have recently been several emails to the list from LinkedIn users who have added the SAC-HELP mailing list address to their LinkedIn connections, asking to connect.
Please refrain from doing this.
It is discourteous to other subscribers to the mailing list who are using it for legitimate discussions about SAC, and also puts off potential subscribers when they look at the SAC-HELP archives and see unsolicited email clogging up the list.
