ANKARA, Turkey, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- At least 40 people killed and
200 people were injured in an earthquake that shook central Turkey
on Sunday. The Kandilli observatory said the epicenter of the
quake was Bolvadin (about 190 kilometers east of Istanbul)
and that eight aftershocks followed the first tremor. The city
is home to about 40,000 people.
