Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Position in Geosciences
Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to
student learning and research is seeking applicants for a tenure-
track faculty position in the Environmental Science and Geology
Programs of the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, to
begin in the Fall semester of 2007.
We seek applicants with enthusiasm for teaching at both the
undergraduate and graduate levels. Individuals with field-based
experience in environmental geology, surficial processes, hydrology,
or applied geodesy, are particularly encouraged to apply. The
applicant’s research interests are expected to broaden our current
environmental science program, and to complement existing research
activity in the Department. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. degree
at the time of appointment.
The Department offers undergraduate degrees in Environmental Science,
Geology and Geophysics, graduate degrees in Geology and Geophysics,
and a range of degree programs in Meteorology. Saint Louis University
