[iris-bulk] (Job) Positions available at IFREE of JAMSTEC

[IRIS]

      Institute for Research on Earth Evolution (IFREE) of the Japan  
Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) invites  
qualified applicants for a total of about 10 positions of research  
scientist, technical research scientist and research assistant. IFREE  
promotes research on Earth dynamics including deep and shallow  
interactions, past history to present figures and geosphere-biosphere  
linkage with the five research programs involving about 100 research  
scientists and research assistants.
      A Ph.D. or equivalent combination of education and experience  
is required for Research Scientist positions. (Applicants for  
postdoctoral positions must hold a Ph.D. at the start of employment,  
which must have been received within five years prior to the  
appointment date.) A master’s degree or higher, or equivalent  
combination of education and experience is required for Technical  
Research Scientist positions, and a bachelor’s degree or higher, or  
equivalent combination of education and experience is required for  
Research Assistant positions. Successful candidates will be employed  
as terminable employees of JAMSTEC, according to his/her research  
theme and role in IFREE.
