Professional/Strong-Motion Network Engineer.
Principal Duties: Responsible for the operation, repair, and
maintenance of an extensive digital field computer network at

assigned related to the installation, maintenance, and operation of
other types of seismic network instrumentation, including portable
seismographs as part of post-earthquake deployments.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer
science, engineering, or related field. Experience with at least some
of the following data communications hardware: modems, multiplexers,

commonly weighing 50 lbs or more).
