[iris-bulk] (Job) Post-Doctoral Position in Seismology, UW-Madison

A post-doctoral research position in seismology will be available in  
the Department of Geology and Geophysics, University of Wisconsin- 
Madison, beginning in summer 2007.  The position is a full-time 1- 
year appointment, with the opportunity of continuation, as a Post- 
Doctoral Research Associate.  The successful applicant will initially  
participate in two projects, one a seismic tomography project in  
California and the other related to the SAFOD project in Parkfield.   
The expected starting salary is in the range $39,000 to $40,000,  
depending on qualifications and experience.  The position is most  
appropriate for candidates not more than 2 years past Ph.D.   
Completion of all Ph.D. requirements is necessary at the time of  
appointment.

The starting dates for the positions are flexible, but preferably  
between May 1 and July 1, 2007.  Applicants should submit a resume,
