The GSN announces that Antelope users now have real-time access to a
125 station subset of the GSN as part of a demo within the new
Antelope 4.9 release. This GSN demo acquires 125 GSN BHZ channels,
including IU, II, and IC networks and GSN Affiliate stations, and is
a fully functional real-time seismic processing system, which will
automatically run arrival detection, event association, event
location, magnitude estimation, waveform processing, and database
archiving tasks.
To simplify the configuration for the user, all of the GSN waveform
data are acquired from a single open orbserver accumulator point
currently running at IGPP/UCSD, which acquires the GSN data from IRIS
DMS and USGS LISS. Of course, experienced Antelope users may
customize their situation to acquire additional real-time GSN
channels and stations, available via the IRIS DMS and USGS LISS.
GSN welcomes Antelope users to access real-time GSN data, and thanks
BRTT, IGPP/UCSD, IRIS DMS and USGS for their efforts in promoting
access to GSN data.
