Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee for the upcoming Geoinformatics
2007 Conference, I strongly urge you to participate in the Conference
and to submit abstracts. This Conference is hosted by the California
Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology, University
of California, San Diego on May 18 -19, 2007. The Conference provides a
national forum for researchers and educators from geoscience and
information technology/computer science to present new data analysis or
modeling techniques, visualization schemes, or technologies as they
relate to developing the cyberinfrastructure for the Geosciences.
Sponsors include the Geological Society of America (Geoinformatics
Division), USGS, National Science Foundation, California Institute for
Telecommunications and Technology, San Diego Supercomputer Center, and
the British Geological Survey.
Please consider submitting an abstract by April 3, 2007 for an oral
presentation, poster, and/or computer demonstration. For additional
