[iris-bulk] Special SSA session in honour of Tony Dahlen

At its upcoming Annual Meeting (April 16-18 in Santa Fe) the SSA will  
posthumously award the Reid medal to Tony Dahlen. For this occasion,  
the SSA has made an exception to its rules and allowed us to organize  
a special session entitled "The heritage of F. Anthony Dahlen".
We intend to show in this session how Tony's theoretical work is  
influencing our science today, and we especially invite IRIS members  
to contribute their latest results of research that builds on Tony's  
work on wave propagation in anisotropic and laterally heterogeneous  
media, free oscillations of the Earth, earthquake mechanics, and the  
mechanics or theormodynamics of mountain building and its consequence  
for seismic hazard.
