UNAVCO invites applications for the position of Plate Boundary  
Observatory (PBO) DATA PRODUCTS MANAGER to work at our UNAVCO office  
in Boulder, Colorado.  The successful candidate will be primarily  
responsible for directing and coordinating PBO data management  
systems, including data products specifications, generation, and  
delivery.  The selected candidate will perform the following duties:

- Oversee maintenance and enhancement of PBO data management systems,  
including databases; data discovery and delivery; network monitoring;  
reporting tools; systems to ensure timely collection, processing,  
archiving, and distribution of PBO data products; and ensuring that  
all of the above continue to meet the needs of EarthScope and UNAVCO  
customers.

- Work with Operations staff to identify and solve data flow problems.

- Work with software development / maintenance staff to specify,  
test, and accept critical data management software tools.

- Oversee and coordinate the work of PBO Archives and Analysis  
Centers, including overseeing the necessary subawards.

- Manage PBO data activities in accordance with the approved budget  
and work plan.

- Participate as designated in UNAVCO and Community mechanisms for  
continued evaluation of geophysical data from PBO and existing networks.

- Supervise the PBO data management staff and implement UNAVCO’s  
processes for PBO personnel management.
