T57:  Evolution of the Lithosphere and Upper Mantle in the Western U.S.

Rationale: Earthscope and other projects are providing a wealth of new  
seismic and geodetic data on lithosphere and upper mantle structure  
and deformation in the Western U.S. This session will be an  
interdisciplinary examination of what we are learning about evolution  
of the different provinces in the Western U.S. from geochemical,  
seismological, geological, geodetic, and geodynamic perspectives.
