The NOAA Pacific Tsunami Warning Center (PTWC) in Ewa Beach, Hawaii  
has an opening for the full-time permanent position of Senior  
Electronics Technician (GS-0856-12/12).

The incumbent provides expert-level support for scientific operations  
and leads a team of one or more Electronic Technicians to carry out  
the electronics-related work of the PTWC.  The position is responsible  
for many or all aspects of the design, construction, installation,  
monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electronic and  
communications equipment, as well as seismic, sea level and other  
instruments located within the PTWC Operations Center, on the PTWC  
compound or at field sites in Hawaii and around the Pacific.
