The goal of this project is to map potential inundation of Alaska coastal communities, providing local emergency officials with site-specific tsunami hazard assessment.</DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; min-height: 14px; "><BR></DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; ">Qualifications: Master's degree in Oceanography, other Earth or Physical Sciences, Mathematics or Engineering, strong knowledge of ocean dynamics and numerical modeling techniques, experience with computational fluid dynamics, preferably in tsunami numerical modeling.
