The successful applicant will work on problems related to passive seismic imaging including the surface-wave tomography of the crust and the lithosphere and investigations of shallow sedimentary layers. A Ph.D. in geophysics or a related field is required at the time of appointment, and applicants are anticipated to have a background in geophysics, physics, or engineering with an emphasis in seismic processing and understanding of wave phenomena.<br><br>Selection process will commence immediately, and applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
