[dhi-servers] point-distance area in event server

Hi

In investigating the box area date line issue, we discovered that the  
point distance area is implemented for the network server, but not  
for the event server. We would really like to have our clients be  
able to send point-distance areas to the event server. Since the  
functionality is there, could you port it over to the event server?
