[irised] Illinois earthquake

For once, the media got it right!  The earthquake is centered just west 
of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, and most of the damage was centered in a 10-20 
mile radius around that area.  The location is indeed close to the 
Indiana border, and though we'd like to claim it as "The Great Indiana 
Earthquake of '08", it clearly belongs to our neighbors across the 
Wabash River.  We're in the process of deploying portable seismographs 
and GPS instruments to see if we can track the surface deformation and 
aftershocks associated with this interesting event.
