[irised] Some AmaSeis improvements

I had a query from a teacher who is using the Amaseis software. I
noticed in a helicorder screen dump that he sent me, that the seismic
trace was not co-incident with the helicorder hour line, so I asked him
to adjust the zero value until there both were co-incident, but then he
replied with this question,

What is the origin of the zero value, is it due to the boom not being
perfectly centred and causing an offset in the voltage output of the
coil?? Just wondering?

Would anyone suggest an answer, please

Sincerely
Tom Blake
