 From UNOLS News:

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has funded an Early Career
Scientist Training Cruise in Seismic Data Acquisition and Processing to
take place aboard the R/V /Revelle/ in September 2017. As part of this
effort, the program's Principal Investigators recently hosted a
three-part webinar series, facilitated by Caitlin Mandel, Annette
DeSilva, and Jon Alberts of the UNOLS Office which introduced the
participants to the process of defining science goals, developing
detailed cruise plans to meet those goals, and the fundamentals of
active source marine seismology.

The application period for the training cruise is now open and the
deadline is May 31st, 2017. While preference will be given to those who
attended the webinar series and received the introductory training,
anyone affiliated with a United States institution is welcome to apply.
