[SAC-HELP] VSPACE?

I am working on a Macbook pro connected to another monitor in "split  
screen" mode. When I plot, XWindows comes up split between both  
screens - this is very annoying.
Using VSPACE I tried to change that but only the aspect ratio of the  
plot changed - the window still came up split between the two screens.  
XVPORT didn't do the job either. How do I make XWindows to come up  
only on one screen?
