This update adds a new option to return phase arrivals, the DMC currently only has phase arrivals for the ANF catalog. Other changes include bug fixes and reorganization for compliance with the QuakeML schema.</div><div><br></div><div>We believe this update will be backward compatible for almost all users. Most clients, including the DMC's FetchEvent script, should require changes.</div><div><br></div><div><a href="http://www.iris.edu/ws/event/">http://www.iris.edu/ws/event/</a><br><br>Changes:<br><br>* New 'includearrivals' option includes phase arrivals in the results. Note that the DMC only has phase arrivals for the ANF (USArray TA) catalog.<br><br>* XML name space changes (e.g. q:quakeml).<br><br>* Reorganize the Flinn-Engdahl region code and name structure to be compliant with schema (see example below).<br><br>* Fixes to radius selections near the poles. Note that radius selections can be very slow, queries become progressively slower as the search radius increases. As a work around a roughly equivalent "square" selection can be defined using the min/max latitude and longitude parameters and pruned to the desired set after retrieval.<br><br>* Refactoring of internal query logic for clarity and maintenance.<br><br><br>New Flinn-Engdahl region code and name structure example:<br><br><description iris:FEcode="153"></div><div> <type>Flinn-Engdahl region</type></div><div> <text>SOUTH SANDWICH ISLANDS REGION</text></div><div></description><br><br></div><div><br>regards,<br>Web services team</div></body></html>
