Maps of Events (Earthquakes)

Pre-Assembled Event Information
Many users come to the DMC website on a regular basis to collect event information for "default" time periods. The DMC generates maps and text files for some of these time periods on a daily basis. If the time period you seek is not listed below, then please use our Event Search utility to create maps or files of your own.

Make Your Own Maps
Event Search allows the user to search our entire event catalog database while setting a minimum number of parameters. event search
SeismiQuery is our advanced database search tool and provides the user with a greater number of search options.
Map Your Own Event lets you make a map displaying the location of an earthquake that you specify and S-P distance circles drawn around four specified stations. This may be used as an interactive tool for students, or printed to produce a paper and pencil earthquake location exercise.

The above options produce the same type of event map.
