In sac, do a

SAC> help ch

It includes information about resetting time variables. The way I do it
is

SAC> ch o gmt 1990 190 14 30 13 200

Quoting from the help message;

GMT v1 v2 v3 v4 v5 v6 where v1, v2, v3, v4, v5, and v6 are the GMT year,
julian day, hour, minute, second, and millisecond of the time.

However, I would like to put a time string into the header. This variable is called KZTIME, as far as I understand. Since this is an alphanumeric variable, I assume I need to enter it in a special way. Does anyone know how to? Also, is there a way to use the variables I already entered to produce the KZTIME string?
