Hello WS users, Tomorrow we will be updating all of our fdnsws web services (dataselect, event and station) to version 1.1 of the specification: http://www.fdsn.org/webservices/ The vast majority of users will not notice the difference as the changes are very few (the DMC’s services have mostly been 1.1 compliant for a long time). Hello data users, Unfortunately we introduced a bug in the fdsnws-dataselect service on April 17th (last Thursday). This bug caused largish data requests to sometimes, but not always, be artificially truncated. Combined with the fact that HTTP has no capability to report errors once the streaming has started, this bug would not be immediate obvious to end-users. Dear all, I am trying out the MUSTANG Beta web service. Great job! Apologies if this is not the right place to post this. I have an issue with the value constraints. It is possible to use, e.g. "value_lt=3” and it will select those measurements with a value of less then 3. The problem arises when querying multiple metrics at once. In that case the constraints are applied to all metrics simultaneously and it does not appear to be possible to restrict it only to one metric. The following to… [more]

Hello WS users, The DMC has updated the fdsnws-event service to version 1.0.11: http://service.iris.edu/fdsnws/event/1/ Changes include: * Fixed a bug related to listing events with no magnitudes in search results * Update the NEIC PDE catalog data.
